We are currently recruiting for a Service Engineer to join our Service team at Gratte Brothers Security Systems and Software (GBSS&S). This field-based role covers the region of London and the Southeast and will be responsible for the attendance, completion and rectification of reactive, corrective and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) calls, logged upon receipt from our customers and allocated by the Service Help Desk.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be required to participate in the company out-of-hours response service. You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality service in all that you do, ensuring you are always wearing the required PPE, displaying company-issued ID and presenting yourself smartly in company work wear.
The successful candidate will adhere to all NSI, legislative, company and client standards and procedures whilst performing the role’s required duties. You will have a minimum of 3-years’ field experience in service and maintenance of large integrated security systems including CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Detection Systems. Plus, you’ll possess experience with relevant IT software.
We’re looking for someone with integrity who can be a positive ambassador for the Gratte Brothers brand. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills to uphold effective communication with the service department. You will also be able to manage expectations, solve problems effectively and have the confidence to take the initiative.
