From Temporary Contract to Trusted Partnership
Our relationship with Wembley Stadium and foodservice and hospitality company, Delaware North, started in 2022 in the form of a 6-month temporary contract to maintain the refrigeration within the hospitality areas.
Over the past few years, that relationship has grown and grown as a result of our successful delivery on site and the confidence we’ve built in the team on site, which is led by Head of Culinary, Harry Lomas, to rely on our services. Our scope of works now includes everything from planned and reactive maintenance of the refrigeration and cookline equipment to one-off equipment replacements as well as management of the client’s 1200+ catering assets.
Due to the nature of their operations and the continuous stream of eagerly anticipated and sold-out events, our priority as their service partner is to ensure that the team at Wembley are confident in our ability to meet their needs and trust in our team to be flexible and ready to act at a moment’s notice.
Dedicated Delivery Team
From the start of the contract, we created and implemented a dedicated site team, which is led by a Resident Engineer, who is available every day as well as a wider pool of engineers who are inducted to access the site. Identification of critical spares and inventory management on site additionally ensures our engineers are ready to make timely repairs.
Our office-based support team is also on hand to provide the full support needed to ensure a smooth operation on site and is in constant communication with the client team, making themselves available outside of normal working hours to ensure their every need is met. This strong structure that we have in place allows us to act and turnaround any requirements that arise quickly such as in the spring of 2024 when we were able to source and install 30 horizontal bottle coolers in under a week in preparation for the FA Cup final when typically the lead time on such a task would have been 2-3 weeks.
