Gratte Brothers’ Virtual Christmas Raffle Raises £3,000

  • All

Whilst this year’s event had to run a little differently due to COVID-19 restrictions, our annual Gratte Brothers Christmas Raffle was still able to go ahead, in a virtual format. Each employee was allocated a ticket number on behalf of the Gratte Brothers Group instead of raffle tickets being sold and the winning tickets were selected by a random number generator.

As a result, a £3,000 donation was made by the company to London’s Air Ambulance and Ronald McDonald House charities instead of the proceeds that would have been raised through raffle ticket sales. London’s Air Ambulance provides swift emergency care to the capital’s most critically injured patients reducing unnecessary deaths from trauma and Ronald McDonald House Charities UK provides free home away from home accommodation to families whilst their child is in hospital.

Whilst we continue to face restrictions, it’s important to remember that we can always find new ways to help wonderful causes that need our support!
