Gratte Brothers | Building Services & Engineering (also known as GBL), is currently recruiting for a Temporary Works Coordinator based on-site in Slough, Berkshire.

About the Role:
As a Temporary Works Coordinator, your responsibilities will revolve around facilitating the smooth execution of temporary works (TW) projects. This includes the close collaboration with site teams and designers to ensure efficient coordination of TW activities. The ideal candidate would therefore be an excellent communicator, able to build and maintain successful professional relationships.
Key duties include reviewing TW design briefs prepared by site teams and issuing approved briefs to framework designers. You’ll oversee the management of designs to ensure compliance with requirements and conduct necessary checks. Additionally, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the implementation of approved designs on-site and conducting inspections to guarantee adherence to safety standards.
A fundamental aspect of this role is demonstrating a personal commitment to safety and health frameworks, policies, and management systems. You’ll need to maintain awareness of SHE hazards and associated risks, striving to eliminate or minimise them wherever possible. In addition, compliance with commercial processes, as well as legal and regulatory requirements, is paramount. You’ll ensure adherence to all relevant company and joint venture policies and processes throughout TW projects. Furthermore, you’ll be responsible for obtaining relevant certificates and approvals from relevant bodies and clients.
