We are delighted to have received an Award for Recycling from Paper Round for our ‘significant contribution towards helping the environment in 2018.’ In 2018, we recycled 18,890 kg, saved 116 trees, saved 21,610 kg of CO2 and provided 73 vulnerable people with meals.
At Gratte Brothers, we are committed to minimising the environmental impact of our activities, and have successfully retained our Environmental Management ISO 14001 certification for over a decade. Sustainability is a key element of our business approach in both our office and site operations. We are already reducing our carbon footprint by changing the way we procure materials and employing local people whilst building initiatives to improve fleet efficiency and energy consumption in our buildings.
