In 2019, we continued our partnership with The National Community Wood Recycling Project (NCWRP) to help save precious resources used on our sites and to help more individuals find paid employment. Community Wood Recycling is a network of social enterprises that rescues and reuses waste timber that would otherwise be landfilled, often by converting it to bio pellets for energy production whilst also providing training, jobs and volunteering opportunities for local people, in particular those who find it difficult to gain employment.

We’ve been partnered with NCWRP since 2017 and we’re proud to continue to help them build a circular economy whilst providing life-changing opportunities for disadvantaged people. Take a look above at what has been achieved by working together in 2019.
