Roux at Skindles marks our third project working with the Roux family. Once an infamous hotel and nightclub, the original Skindles Hotel has been transformed into a modern French Brasserie with an open kitchen and beautiful Thames-side location.
Gratte Brothers Foodservice Solutions was appointed to design and install the kitchen which included cold rooms, a full cook suite and ware-washing equipment. Specialist fabrication included a 20-metre U-shaped continuous work surface welded on site, and ultraviolet filtration to prevent the build-up of grease and odour in the ventilation.
Works took place across multiple storeys, with the installation of a ground-floor open kitchen, first-floor pantry area, and minor works to the wine storage space on the second floor. Despite a tight turnaround time, the project was completed within three weeks and on time.
