Roux at Skindles marks our third project working with the Roux family. Their conversion of the original Skindles Hotel, once the site of an infamous hotel and nightclub, into a modern classic French Brasserie is set along the beautiful Thamesside and boasts an open kitchen.
Gratte Brothers Foodservice Solutions was appointed to undertake the design and full kitchen installation, which included Cold Rooms, a full Cook Suite and Warewashing Equipment. Specialist fabrication included a 20-metre U-shape continuous work surface welded on site and ultraviolet filtration to prevent the build-up of grease and odour in the ventilation.
Works took place across the multi-storey building with the installation of the Ground Floor open kitchen, pantry area on the 1st floor and small works to the wine storage space on the 2nd floor. We worked directly with the client to ensure that despite a tight completion schedule, we completed works within 3 weeks and on time.
