Gratte Brothers hosts survivors of terrorism at King’s Cross Office for exciting new project

  • Security Systems & Software

We were proud to Resilience in Unity at our King’s Cross headquarters on Wednesday 5th November for the recording of an exciting new project. Resilience in Unity, led by Travis D. Frain OBE BCA DL, brings together survivors, practitioners, and policymakers. They aim to explore what true resilience looks like in the face of modern threats. In addition, they act as the Secretariat for the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Terrorism & Security.

This new project with Resilience in Unity aims to unite people, communities, and public authorities in open discussion. It challenges extremist narratives and highlights the human and societal impacts of terrorism. Through these conversations, the Resilience in Unity team hopes to raise awareness, inspire collaboration, and promote positive approaches to prevention and recovery.

During the day, several guests from across the public and private sectors attended at our Gratte Brothers HQ. These included security professionals, counter-terror experts, and technology specialists. Each discussion focused on the shared responsibility of designing safer environments. They also focused on harnessing innovation and building partnerships that protect people.

Hosting this new project at our HQ provided an opportunity for Gratte Brothers | Security Systems and Software to contribute to this important dialogue sharing insight from our work in infrastructure protection, system integration and collaborative resilience. As part of our commitment to supporting our communities, we were pleased to provide the setting and our professional insights. We contributed to these essential conversations.

Speaking about the project, Travis Frain commented on the importance of industry involvement:

“Resilience is built when sectors come together, share knowledge, and understand the lived experience of those affected by terrorism. It’s encouraging to see organisations like Gratte Brothers championing that message. I look forward to continuing to work with them on this joint mission.”

More information will be released about this exciting new project over the following weeks. To learn more about the initiative, visit The Resilience in Unity Project
